We’re going to make a one ton dually pickup out of this 1946 Diamond T flatbed truck. We finally found the correct length bed and fenders that look right with this truck’s wheel base, and they are from a 1946 Chevrolet long wheel base pickup.. The short beds are just too short for a Diamond T, and we didn’t want to alter the Diamond T’s wheelbase. This project may not go as fast as the 1972 el Camino’s, as it is COLD here now, and we also need to work at our job, and try to earn some money.. Pretty hard to make a living here right now.
