A great song written by Neil Diamond, some say it’s a song about a mans deep love for a woman, others see it as something more spiritual, with a more religious meaning coming through in his lyric. Who knows what was on his mind when he wrote the song or if there was ever anything meant to be taken from listening to the lyrics other than to accept it for the beautiful song that it is.
